Car Air Purifier

admin 21 Aug 2009 | : ionic air purifier

Looking for a car air purifier? There’s lots of options out there to choose from. The purpose of a car air purifier is to clean the air of your car. If you don’t think the air in your car is dirty, you’re insane. Consider how much dust and dirt gathers on your floor mats in a month’s time. Do you really think everything that enters your car is heavy enough to settle somewhere? No, there’s plenty floating around, so there’s plenty of use for a car air purifier, just like there’s plenty of use for ionic air purifiers in the home and office. Also, if you’re an allergy sufferer, you could be breathing some of the most contaminated air in your car. Newer cars have filters in them, but that only covers their AC system, which is generally air coming in from outside of the car. All the air inside the car is left as it was, filled with allergens and irritants. If you own an older car, then everything that comes in the AC system goes straight into your lungs. This includes pollen, dust, and exhaust fumes from all the cars around you. Add to this the very limited amount of space in your car compared to even your home and you can see how this could quickly become a problem. Unfortunately, the big, nice ionic air purifier you bought for your home can’t help you once you’re in your car or truck.

Besides, if you own an ionic air purifier at home or work, then you’re already spoiled to having nice, clean, odor-free air. A car air purifier costs a fraction of the price of a normal ionic air purifier, making it a great buy.

Ionic Breeze Air Purifier

admin 21 Aug 2009 | : ionic air purifier

The Ionic Breeze Air Purifier was the first ionic air purifier on the scene. Although it has been attacked numerous times by various entities, the machine remains very popular, and those who own them swear by them. Its popularity has been so profound that many attempt to imitate it.

The Ionic Breeze Air Purifier offers many great features that made it one of the best selling ionic air purifiers on the market. The ultra-efficient electrostatic air cleaner is there to trap irritants, pollutants, and allergens on the collection blades. Therefore, there are never any filters to replace. All that needs to be done is occasionally slide the blades out of the machine and wipe them clean with a damp cloth.

The Ionic Breeze is suitable for average-sized rooms of around 350 square feet. The Zenion Effect technology moves air electronically, without need of a motor or fan, and produces no noise whatsoever. Charged particles are held to oppositely charged collectors that slide out for easy cleaning, which saves you money. These no replacement filters, along with low energy costs cause the Ionic Breeze Air Purifier to save its owners hundreds over HEPA filters.

The latest, and possibly last Ionic Breeze seems to be either the Ionic Breeze Quadra Air Purifier, or the Ionic Breeze GP Air Purifier.  There doesn’t seem to be any major difference between the original, and these two later ones, aside from more recent production dates.  There is no evidence that any Ionic Breeze is still in production today, although it’s not hard to find an Ionic Breeze Quadra Air Purifier being sold as new.

How the ionic air purifier works

admin 10 Aug 2009 | : ionic air purifier

I’m sure you’re wondering how it is an ionic air purifier works. It’s really simple, actually. As air passes through your ionic air cleaner, the pollution particles that are contained within are electrically charged. Plates inside the machine are oppositely charged so that they grab and hold the pollutants as they pass through. These plates are the only maintenance item within the machine, and they can be easily lifted out of the machine and wiped clean. That’s it! Remove, wipe, and replace, and the ionic air filter will keep on filtering the air for you. This only needs to be done about every two weeks. People are shocked at just how much black gunk is stuck to those stainless steel plates…and guess where it would’ve ended up if you didn’t have an ionic air purifier. That’s right! In you or your loved ones!

Let’s take a look at exactly what causes the air flow that makes these pollutants come by a ionic air purifier in the first place. Every particle of material and veritably every air molecule near the intake of an ionic air cleaner. Nearby, stainless steel cleaning plates are creating an opposite charge, drawing those air particles forward. As the air rushes toward the cleaning plates, what is called an ionic breeze is created, and constantly sustained for as long as the ionic air purifier is powered. Pollutants in the air such as pollen, smoke, chemicals, animal dander, and even odors are smeared against the stainless steel cleaning plates and will remain there until they’re wiped away about every two weeks. Lighter molecules, such as air molecules, cruise through the area of the cleaning plates and drop their charge as they blow back into the room. The result is clean, pure, pollution free air that you’ll be glad that you’re breathing, not to mention your family and any company you may have.  All due to your ionic air cleaner.

To appreciate the ionic air purifier, you’ll really have to witness it for yourself. It really is quite amazing how something without a fan can create a breeze. Not only that, but see with your own eyes just how much crud you would’ve been breathing had you not had an ionic air cleaner. For this reason, most sellers of the ionic air purifier will happily let you try one for a limited time. If you’re not satisfied, a good retailer will simply refund your money, except for the shipping and handling, of course.  Oh, and they’ll want their ionic air purifier back.

Searching for an ionic air purifier will most likely bring up the Ionic Breeze Quadra Air Purifier, or the Ionic Breeze GP Air Purifier.  As far as features and ability to clean the air, they seem to pretty much match the original Ionic Breeze Air Purifier.  Although you can find them being sold as new, neither of these are currently produced by The Sharper Image, so you may want to steer clear.  Alternatively, you can check out the Ionic Pro Air Purifier, which is currently sold by the independent company, Ionic Pro, LLC.
