Ionic Breeze Air Purifier

The Ionic Breeze Air Purifier was the first ionic air purifier on the scene. Although it has been attacked numerous times by various entities, the machine remains very popular, and those who own them swear by them. Its popularity has been so profound that many attempt to imitate it.

The Ionic Breeze Air Purifier offers many great features that made it one of the best selling ionic air purifiers on the market. The ultra-efficient electrostatic air cleaner is there to trap irritants, pollutants, and allergens on the collection blades. Therefore, there are never any filters to replace. All that needs to be done is occasionally slide the blades out of the machine and wipe them clean with a damp cloth.

The Ionic Breeze is suitable for average-sized rooms of around 350 square feet. The Zenion Effect technology moves air electronically, without need of a motor or fan, and produces no noise whatsoever. Charged particles are held to oppositely charged collectors that slide out for easy cleaning, which saves you money. These no replacement filters, along with low energy costs cause the Ionic Breeze Air Purifier to save its owners hundreds over HEPA filters.

The latest, and possibly last Ionic Breeze seems to be either the Ionic Breeze Quadra Air Purifier, or the Ionic Breeze GP Air Purifier.  There doesn’t seem to be any major difference between the original, and these two later ones, aside from more recent production dates.  There is no evidence that any Ionic Breeze is still in production today, although it’s not hard to find an Ionic Breeze Quadra Air Purifier being sold as new.

Ionic air purifiers lead to better health

Unsure whether it’s worth your money to purchase an ionic air purifier? Maybe you feel as if the air in your home is plenty clean, and that ionic air purifiers are really a waste of money?  The American College of Allergies begs to differ. According to them, 50% of all illnesses are either caused, or at least aggravated by polluted indoor air. The Environmental Protection Agency says that indoor air can be two to ten times more hazardous than outdoor air. Not only that, but the EPA declares that indoor air quality is actually our number one environmental health problem. Not water pollution. Not smog. Indoor air. The air in your homes and offices.  The air that ionic air purifiers clean.

Newer homes can be more dangerous than older homes as they are built air tight. This means that no matter how little air pollution you think is in your home, it’s been building up since the home was built. Since these buildings are air tight, the natural air-cleansing agents such as negative ions and ozone are locked out, while contaminants a locked in the home for you to breathe. In super-insulated homes, which are designed to be more eco-friendly by reducing energy usage, allergen levels are 200% higher than normal homes. The fact that they’re air-tight could very well work in their favor with the addition of an ionic air cleaner. After the ionic air purifier cleans the air, it won’t be able to exit the home nearly as quickly as those older homes, nor will it be as quick to become re-contaminated.

Think you and your family are safe since you don’t smoke? Well, Scientific America says that a baby crawling about on your floor will inhale the equivalent of about 4 cigarettes per day, just from molds, mildews, dust mites, fungi, and the outgassing of the carpet itself. As your family probably spends well over 90% of their life indoors, the indoor air is going to have a far greater impact on their health than the air outdoors. An ionic air purifier would clean all that air that you breathe so much of your life, dramatically improving yours and your family’s health.

The EPA also says that over half the homes and buildings in the United States are what they deem “sick”. This means that, due to airborne pollutants, they are actually hazardous to your health. Imagine how much healthier you would be with an ionic air purifier. Remember when asthma was rare? The indoor air is the reason it’s become so much more prevalant.  Ionic air purifiers just may be the answer.

The silent ionic air purifiers

Ionic air purifiers have got to be one of the most interesting devices created within the last 20 or so years. It is able to provide clean, fresh, and dust free air as it removes virtually any and all contaminants from the air in your office or home. Not only does the ionic air purifier do an excellent job of cleaning, but it does so without using any type of fan, or any other noise creating agent, even when it’s set to it’s very highest setting. An ionic air purifier can be left on all night without fear of losing sleep as it is completely silent. No noise at all to keep you awake! Actually, since you’ll be breathing better quality, uncontaminated air all night, you’ll probably gain quite a bit of rest from your sleep each night.

Seasonal allergy sufferers are especially happy about the clean breathing they are able to obtain with ionic air purifiers. In areas with high pollution, the ionic air purifier creates what is like a bubble of clean, fresh air, created just for their owners.

The designers of ionic air purifiers work very hard to guarantee that these machines are not only extremely effective, but also economical to use and easy to maintain. If you’re worried about power usage, as everyone is in these days of increased energy costs, you’ll be happy to know that an ionic air purifier only uses 10 watts of electricity. 10 watts of electricity is less than most night-lights use. Consider, for the cost of running a single 100 watt light bulb, you could operate 10 ionic air purifiers!

As they are completely filter-less, there’s no reason to ever have to buy a filter monthly, yearly or ever. Compared to the cost of replacing HEPA filters. Although HEPA filters are a great way to clean the air, they do use a fan and a filter, which means not only the additional cost of filters, but the additional sound of the fan running all of the time. Not only that, but HEPA purifiers use quite a bit more energy than ionic air purifiers, using anywhere between 180 and 250 watts. In comparison, an ionic air purifier will pay for itself if you consider the replacement filters and extra energy use by the competition. The fact that they are also completely silent, having no need of a noise fan, really clenches the ionic air purifier’s lead over the others.
